Odd Nav Issue
Sometimes the nav screen flashes off and on. The radio will work and the Corvette logo will come on then go dark. I tried to open and close the screen. It opened and now won't close. I press the button and maybe get a beep but no movement. Everything else is fine.
I agree, I would try the fuse first. If that doesn't do it then I would think it would be the flexible ribbon cable that connects the movable screen with the main body of the radio.

The unit has to come apart in the back to get at the ribbon. I started to do it to see if I could get to the inside to clean the CD and DVD laser optic lens, but I quit before i broke something. I used a CD cleaner disc and that did the trick. I would love to be brave enough to completely take it apart, but it could become a $400.00-$500.00 experiment
