After driving my convertible, when I park it in the garage - should I put the top up or leave it down?
If your garage is dusty like mine here in the Sonora Desert, put it up, close the windows, and if you have a cover use it. Otherwise it doesn't matter.
My garage is the least dusty room in the house, so if I pull in with the top down, I leave it down. The only exception is if the top got wet at ANY point that day. Then I'll put the top up overnight.

I put mine up every day too. When I leave it down, the dust on the dash and steering column is very apparent.
If its down when I pull into the garage, I leave it down. If its up, it stays up. Never put the top down on a wet top and leave it like that. Mold etc will set in on it pretty quick.
Ragg Topp is what I use on mine when its time to spruce it up a little.
I usually leave mine up in the garage because of the reasons mentioned here.
I also have a vert cover for just the windshield and the cockpit and a thin nylon type cover for the whole car. Both work well to keep the dust off. The cockpit cover is very easy to throw over it for the night. Get a lot of dust in our area, especially in the spring and summer.
You might also consider lightly vacuuming the top now and then to keep the dirt from getting built up between washes. . Use the brush fitting lightly. I always vacuum it before I wash the car too. You can see the dust come out of it.
My 2011 is my second Corvette Convertible. I had the first one better than 10 years. If the top is up when I pull into the garage, it stays up. Vice Versa, if its down when it goes in, its down until I put it up again. If I leave it with the top up, I leave the driver's window open so there is not a heat buildup in the cabin. Here in South Florida, we do it a little different then most other places. It's way too hot during the Summer days to drive with the top down. Also during the summer months we get a lot of rain showers so the top does get wet and as mentioned, the top should not be dropped if it is wet. Other than Summer the weather here is extremely conducive to top down driving. The top stays down except for those occasional rainy days or if it is being parked elsewhere other than my house.

I just tried that a few weeks ago. Mine picked up a lot of fuzz from my wash mitt and looked terrible. I was very impressed with how much better it looked after I vacuumed it.
