Thinking of installing performance headers on the Vette...2007 C6.....questions being..any HP increase? Do they need to be welded to the pipes or is there a set that can be put on with out any welding? How much increase in noise would be heard in the cockpit? Thank you for any help on this topic....

You are in a C7 forum, not C6

Check the c6 General forum. You will get lots of info, some of which may be factual. Good luck with your Vette.

You're in the right forum now. Yes headers are made to be installed with out any welding. They come in stainless and coated and generally offer a few more horse power when used with less restrictive mufflers. Some system require that the engine computer be reprogramed for optimum performance. As for noise you will find more due to the free flowing mufflers and some will become annoying for extended driving due to drone. Do a search here plenty of vendors that will hook you up.
