I have a 09 that needs the lenses replaced but I'm totally not wanting to mess it up by trying to do it myself. Does anyone know of a company that provides the service of installing the new lenses?
Thanks,
Ray
If no one responds, and no one has any lenses to do work, and you don't want to buy new, be creative. Start looking at junk yards via phone or internet (why go?)---there's a strictly vette parts site on CF---find old ones, send to RL and get 'em done.
Take a little while but overall, probably cheaper than buying new. But you won't know until you contact the lowest-priced new sellers like Gene Culley, etc. You'll have to do some work----search for names of places on here.

This is a good idea. As someone struggling to decide which route to go in replacing my worn out C6 headlight lenses.
If your problem is just chipping/scratching on the lenses, one of the polishing kits and clearcoating for UV protection could give you several years. No guarantees.
If you have crazing in the plastic or excessive film buildup inside the lenses, you're pretty much stuck with getting new lenses or buying complete new headlight assemblies.
If you search under my name for this month, you'll find my story and calculations on benefit vs cost of different methods.

Some people put a tinted cover over it to hide the flaws. NotSoFast has put it on his vehicle and it looks good
I replaced the entire passenger side headlight assembly on my '07 Monterey Red convertible a few years ago. Found the correct color assembly, like new, on Ebay for $200. It was offered by a Corvette/Camaro/Performance Car salvage yard in Bristol, PA, near Philly. The car was rear ended and he just happened to have the assembly. I purchased the C-6/05-09 Corvette service manual CD from Ebay, and followed the step by step instructions for headlamp removal and replacement. More time consuming than difficult...lots of screws to take out for the front fascia removal and fender lifted slightly to get the assembly out of the car. I sold the old assembly for $100 to a vendor at Carlisle who rebuilds units. By the way, these units are sealed and require extreme oven heat to soften the glue/sealer for removal of the lens from the assembly. Good luck!
I have a spare set (left, right) 2010 Torch Red in excellent shape. Not sure I'm going to keep them and might sell them. But, even if yours is red, the red color changed 09 to 10 from Victory to Torch, I believe.

I was just wondering....would these be covered by insurance if they got damaged due to someone vandalizing your Corvette ? And if so that would/should include installation ?

Not sure about insurance coverage, but the estimate in 2011 for a new assembly from GM was $1200...they'd use unpainted base parts, paint it Monterey Red, then assemble the unit for delivery to the dealer, plus the price from the dealer was $600 to install, so I was looking at $1800 for one stinking unit back then. Was it any wonder I did it myself!
Craigslist is where I've seen sets of headlights for sale, and singles sometimes.
Man I have been searching for months in Craigslist and never came up with a set of Torch Red
Luckily I just found a set out of a 2012 with less that 10,000 miles on EBAY for $700 for both .... got them today , little hazy inside the lense, the moisture type of haze, not the plastic crazing haze but its better than my peeling right side ...
I will be selling my old ones soon , no crazing , no cracks , no chips , just the coating is coming off a bit

Dave - Yeah funny, these have been sitting on my shelf for months now, not sure what I was going to do with them. I might just put them back for sale on ebay. Not sure yet. Timing, huh?
