07 z51 coupe 6m stock. Thinking of upgrading intake and exhaust at Corvettes at Carlisle. Recommended was AFE intake with catback Borla S II Exhaust. Will I see a performance gain or do I need to Dynotune?

Don't think you will see any performance gain. Need to add long tube headers and a tune.

Air intake is a waste of money IMO, exhaust will sound a lot better. A tune will give you the horsepower. Others will have their own opinions, but this is mine.

Tune alone will give you a little bump. Exhaust a little more, but mostly for sound changes. Careful with drone! Not easy to live with unless you love it.

Tune and headers is what I'd consider starting with if you're on a budget.

with the exhaust, you might gain the 6HP that is netted with the NPP, but I think that is about it. AFE won't give you more HP, except possibly at the high end of the rpm range. A custom tune will certainly help.

for the money, long tube headers and a tune will give you bang for the buck.
