I lost my #1 fob a couple days ago and my second fob seem to be programed as #3, so i need to buy another replacement and do the long programing, my question is the fobs that are being sold on ebay a good choice or should get it from the dealer. 2007
As long as you get a genuine GM Corvette 2005-2013 fob (used or new), and not the generic 3rd party ones, you should be good to go.
Seems like there are always lots of lightly used OEM Corvette C6 fobs on ebay, for a lot less $ than a new one from a dealer.
BTW -- your 2007 can use any C6 Corvette fob from 2005-2013 -- opens your choices a bit. The 2008-2013 Corvette fobs look different, but program and function exactly the same as 2005-2007 Corvette fobs. It doesn't matter at all if they are used or new, or have ever been programmed before.

Understood... I happen to prefer the 2008-2013's flatter profile, because I keep it in my front pocket.
Don't forget to hook up a battery charger before doing the long program... the last thing you want to have happen is for the car battery to go dead during the middle of the l-o-n-g programming process
Absolutely nothing wrong with finding one on Ebay. I found one there that was the same fob but from a Cadillac. It was cheaper than the Vette one...I just use it for everyday use where it gets beat up a little. As long as the FCC ID number on the back is the same, it will work. In case you don't have them, here are the instructions for both the long and short procedures...you need the long.
Also, if there are currently three fobs programmed to your car and you only have one, it means that there are two out there that will open and start your car. The long procedure will get rid of those and make the two that you will have be the only ones that work.
I order an extra fob from Amazon, got it today and 40 mins later I'm back in business fob #1 & 2 everything works. The instructions are so simple my eight year can do it.
For what its worth--bought a GM new fob off EBay last year and saved a few bucks.
Gave up on programing it myself even after reading a ton of threads on here, never could get it to work---wasted way too much time so took it to a dealer and let him use his equipment to program it. No problems since

Okay, we have two diametrically opposed opinions on programming a new fob.
