Default new steering wheel

Has anyone replaced a steering wheel with one of these?

My car is a 07 Z06 with radio controls and no blue tooth.

Bill Culley's ebay says "2006, 2007 and 2008 models require a connector swap from previous wheel without radio controls." Don't know what that means. Do I need a connector from a wheel without controls? Emailed Cultarg performance about a week ago, but no answer yet.

I think you would have to change the clock spring as well, going from a 2007 to 2012 steering wheel.

Maybe it just the 2005-2006 and the 2007 is OK. Not sure about that.

EDIT: I think your OK with the 2007.

You might try contacting Dennis of DoubleDMods (a forum vendor). He might be able to help you.

I may be wrong, but when I researched 2012 wheel install for my late model year 2007, I thought there was a clockspring change mid 07. Didn't have to change mine.

I have an 08 and was told I needed to change the clock spring. If I remember it was close to $200.00 for the clock spring. It was a lot easier and cheaper to have my wheel redone.

I put that wheel in my 08 with no issues, just bolted right up after I added the Paddles. I think it looks nicer.
