My drivers door squeaks when I open and close the door. I had put some light oil with teflon (gun lube) on the pivots and it quieted down for a little while. Now it's squeaking again, figured it needed something a little heavier so I gave each pivot a shot of spray white lithium grease. No joy, still squeaks. So I thought I would see what others have used. Any ideas? Possum grease, baby fur seal oil?

This so will penetrate into the small areas to lube them,
Then use some dielectric grease (silicone grease) right after, since the spray silicone will thin the thicker grease to draw it into small areas as well for a long term lubing of them too.
Hence the white lithium grease is not bad, but it just not want to wick into the tight areas to lube the parts there isntead.
my passenger door would squeak like crazy, used a ton of WD40 and it is now permanently fixed
I wouldn't count on that. My 2011 has a noise going past the detent, and I've sprayed the chit out of it with white lithium grease. A detailer would go nuts looking at the overspray. It still pops sometimes.
Had to have the little wheel replaced on the driver door hinge, now the passenger door is making noise. That was the only time I took the car to the dealership (under warranty), and the last !!
My 08 is the same. I use brake cleaner to clean all the moving parts and I only use silicone oil in the spray can it comes back months later because I do drive on wet pavements at times...Then Repeat!

actually it has been fixed now for over 3-4 years after using the WD40
Thanks for all the comments. After reading the suggestions, I had decided to try hitting it with WD40 to see if it would help the lithium grease penetrate further, seemed like an easy next step.
However, when I opened the door this morning it was totally silent, same for when I got out at work. I'll reserve judgement until it goes a little longer but it seems like the lithium penetrated on it's own. I worked the door back and forth many times after I sprayed the lithium (it has a solvent carrier), then wiped everything down to remove any excess, then worked the door back and forth several more times. It kept squeaking so I quit in disgust and started this post. Now after sitting a day and a half (it rained yesterday) the squeak is gone.

+1
I had this problem too and it was a little roller that was moved from the door cam hinge. I had to have the roller bushing thingy replaced to fix it.
silicone spray worked for a little bit, but it eventually just polished a flat spot and stopped turning.

I ordered Super Lube through Home Depot. WD-40 drives out moisture. It is not a lubricant. The Super Lube Home Depot sells online is the same product that GM sells and recommends for door hinges. I checked the SDS.
When I owned my 2007 A6 Vert, my drivers door started clicking and squeeking. Spray the the hinges and roller area with WD40. Never had a problem after that for 2 years when I sold it. Was quite as can be when I sold it.
