Entered My 2011 GS in a Car show this weekend. Spent all day before detailing. But call me crazy I can clean on that car all day and never tire of it. Had a bout 140 entries and I won best "69+ Corvette". Got a nice plaque!
Its was a real joy to win. Probably 15 vettes there. Lots of good people at car shows. Whats up with the C7 crowd? Not one entry.

Well done, I won my first anything this year as well. Won best Chevy plaque, pissed plenty of old timers with their shiny Bel Airs, Chevelles and Camaros. Enjoy. May you be rewarded again an again. Love your car color.

love the color.RE: the C7 Crowd.. I was at a car show recently and over heard a C7 guy saying he would never show his car again! cited Tailights had been complained about too much,

I was up against a bunch of vettes, including a few C7's and came in first place at the last show I did. It seems that every time I enter a show, there are always a few people asking me about the "new vette" and complaining about the C7 taillights. I don't mind the lights but there sure are a lot of people that don't like them.

I enter a fair amount of car shows and most of the C7's that enter are completely stock. I personally don't get it, if I wanted to see a bunch of stock C7's I would just go to the dealership.
