Electrical problem
These cars are very sensitive to low voltages, and numerous alarms an issues pop up, but disappear when a new battery is inserted.
One of the known issues have been at the starter, the bakelite on the solenoid breaking and causing issues. I'm sure that was checked by the mechanic.
The other known issue, without it being a weak battery, is if a passenger pushes on the passenger floor board too hard, and shifts the connector at the BCM under the carpet. The cover pushes against the 2 connectors (blue) and possibly connections are lost.
it's easy to check, unconnect and reconnect.
Some owners use an eraser as a spacer to prevent nervous passsengers from pushing the cover onto the connectors.
Hopefully, you will resolve the electrical issue quickly
Good Luck

Just to clarify; that would be the BCM behind the carpet passenger side, as the ECM is hidden behind the right front wheel well liner.
