Just Back From Vettes & Jets on the Lex
Just returned home from a 7 day road trip to attend the very last ever Vettes and Jets on the Lex, in Corpus Christi TX. A total of 416 Corvettes were loaded onto the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Lexington. to remember 9/11 and raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. Enjoy the photos:

Potential wear/tear on the Lexington's elevator. While the unit performed without issue apparently replacement parts are no longer available and any potential failure could cause the lift to be out of commission for an extended period of time if parts have to be custom manufactured.

Thank you, thank you, truly some beautiful pictures of the Lex.
It's like being there, and the people that couldn't make it, you made it like we were right there, THANKS.

Great photos of a great Old Lady and a lot of beautiful Vettes!! Like I said in a previous post I would love to see this kind of event happen on the Midway in San Diego which is equally as deserving as the Lexington.
