Default New CF hood

My seibon CF hood arrived yesterday. The construction and appearance is top notch. Really a beautiful hood. Not quite sure how I'm going to paint it yet but I definitely want to leave a good bit of the CF exposed bc it is simply just that pretty. I will say however that this thing is a bear to get aligned correctly. When loose, the fit is perfect but when I tighten, it's all over the place. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Need to align driver side fender

Great looking hood. Does it use the stock mounting hardware? Any modifications required?

Thanks. Uses all stock hardware but I did have to drill an area for the prongs at the corners by the hood latches. Very easy.

Where did you get the ZR1 fenders and did you have to change nose?

same hood. this is how i painted mine. as for alignment you just have to keep playing with it mine was never perfect at the bumper line. i did loosen both fenders and worked them in and out to get the hood gap best i could on both sides. its easy just takes time.

I like it the way it is. I've seen many people leave it unpainted and it looks fine. I saw one guy paint part of the nose to tie everything together.

I don't know how it would look, but you could get a piece of vinyl that has a "carbon fiber" pattern and try it.
