So, I was driving back from work doing 35 mph, and the "Front Right Tire Pressure High" message came up, I checked, it was at 47 PSI.... I haven't filled the tires at all, the tires are new as far as I can tell, the tread looks 80%+, anyway, I was going and it went back down to 32 psi, as I approach my neighborhood, it was going between 33 and 32...
So, my question to you guys, has anyone experienced this? Is this a sign that the tire monitor could be going bad? I'm currently googling and I'm not seeing anyone ever having experience this.
I have to assume when you said that you checked the tire pressure, it was using a tire gauge? If so, you may have something going on with your brake system or wheel bearings transferring the heat to the tire, but what ever happened, it corrected itself. I've seen brake calipers start seizing and creating a lot of heat build up and affecting the tire pressure.
If you mean you check the pressure assuming the monitor was correct, then that would be another story.

I'll clear up the confusion, sorry bout that.
I just looked at the hud. When it told me the error, I immediately hit the button to get to the front tire pressure portion of the hud. Left was 34 psi, right was 47. I was going to stop and look at the tire to see if anything was wrong, and it went back down to 32 psi. Then when I got in my neighborhood, the tire went to 33 psi.
I didn't exceed a speed of 50 on my commute. Between the 35 mph zone that I came to when the error popped up and the neighborhood, I only went 45 mph when the limit changed.

Thanks for the clarification.
As others have suggested, battery issues. How old are the TPS's

I couldn't tell ya :\. I just got her on Saturday. Car's a 2009 with 77K miles. The tires and wheels are new according to the dealer I bought it from. But, I doubt the monitors were replaced. So, my guess would have to be 7 years? lol
same error^ fixed itself when i pulled over. what are some good replacement TPMS sensors? link?
Was just about to ask this same question. I had a c5 and the sensors cost me too much for me to care for, but this is a little different. The c6 is something I want immaculate.
And be sure to check all 4 tires, because someone might have mis-programmed them and the "right-front" pressure is actually some other tire on the car.

My first thought also..especially on a car that is new to you. Don't go spending money on new sensors until you diagnose the problem. Check all four with a good handheld gauge. I have two sets of wheels/tires, one from 2006 and one from 2007 and all eight sensors are still fine. Once you are sure of the sensor's locations, you can easily replace one by itself if it is going bad.
