I recently purchased a Vitesse Throttle Controller, it is installed and working fine. But, I just returned from a 1,300 mile drive with the controller set at SP5 the entire time. Once during the trip I noticed that the control panel was showing A15, then A20, A25 . . . A40, etc. I pressed the "B" button 10 times to cycle through all the SP settings and the A## settings went away, although they may have come up again as I wasn't able to observe the settings at all times due to the brightness of the day.
While the controller was cycling through the A## settings, I did not notice any changes in the car's throttling. When stopping and starting off again, the SP5 setting seemed to work as it should. So my question is: what is the significance of all the A## displays?
It displays the throttle position as you drive. When you take your foot off the pedal it displays the setting you chose.
That's odd, I recall a few times while the throttle was down that the display was showing SP5. Anyway, at least I know the A## is not a problem. Thanks!
The A and the number next to it are simply showing you the Acceleration percentage: A15 ( 15% ) , A50 ( 50% ) and so on. If you don't press the gas pedal, it will show you what mode you're on: SP3 or 5...
