C6 Headlight Replacement Lenses

Now I am asking if you have gaskets. What is the secret with the Miami installer? Why is a private PM necessary? If you have a Miami installer, I am interested in buying your lenses, but not if I have to do it myself or send my headlights to California to get them installed.

Sorry, you have PM.
We're working on getting them now, but do not have any currently sold out.
I'm sure he doesn't want to be inundated with calls, so we're playing gatekeeper just to keep the floodgates from becoming overwhelming.

Sean,
it looks like your parts were mistakenly not shipped when they were supposed to be. they were shipped on Monday morning and should be in your hands no later than Thursday.
While we don't want to excuse this mistake, I do want to offer a small explanation. We've been shipping so many of them and in the course of some investigating, it seems that your label accidentally fell behind one of the shipping area desks
---
We are no longer behind on any shipments, all shipments are up to date, so you buy, we ship

As far as I know, the stock headlights did not come with any protective covering, so a previous owner may have applied films to your lights. If that's the case, then you should be able to remove and replace the old ones fairly easily. However, I have read posts here saying that such films can put stress on the lenses, causing microcracking that cannot be repaired without replacing the lens, so you might want to look into that.
ours come with an anti-fog and UV inhibitors.

Historically the hundreds upon hundreds of lenses sold in the past - regardless of the ridiculous claims - were mostly made by cheaper chinese knock off vendors and/or the original factory.
None of the past lenses that were build had the level of quality production we have. It's possible with the new lenses that are being built they may be on par with ours.
We're not just "true believers" about our own product, we would put our lenses up against anyone's in a head to head matchup. We'll put our money where our mouth is, if you have a competing product and want to come by and compare, and you don't think ours is definitely better, we'll give you $25 no questions*
*we do however reserve the right to take photos for that $25

Almost all the lenses sold prior to this year were the exact same quality as the original lights. So basically what happened is the GM factory continued to produce those same quality (read: crap) lenses that everyone resold in the aftermarket.
That means the thousands of lenses sold into the aftermarket to replace the awful original lenses were no better than the original lenses. Therefore, in 2-3 years time, you'll have to swap lenses purchased back then.
It's the reason so many people STILL need to replace lenses. If the lenses sold in the aftermarket between 2010-2015 were any good or different than the bad factory ones, you wouldn't have so many people wanting new lenses.

If you guys are willing to wait for the next batch, we've been able to double our volume for this next order AND lower the price.
Call us for details for now before we put it on the site.

Safety Car
Hopefully by next week I'll have some before after pictures of mine. Car went offroading a bit and the shop doing the repairs will replace the lenses while addressing the front end.

Our product has been great as far as abrasion, corrosion, coating, and photometrics testing go, there are a few more before we get the certified (but we are confident). If you want to wait til we get the certificate, we'll do the $249.99 price and call it the DOT delay price
We're paying a fortune, so you can have peace of mind that your lenses are DOT legitimately and legally. See attachment.
