TPWS Question
I had an issue with one of my TPWS valves. I got a low air pressure warning. So when I took of the valve cap I heard and felt air coming out. Thinking I would need a new valve cap $125. I went to the dealership.
So the service man said let's check it out. He took off the cap and said let's try a inside stem well it worked.
I had no idea u could do that. If so he saved me $125

You've probably seen this tool before and not realized what it was. Dirt cheap and pretty handy if the occasion arises to remove the cores
(see below).

No it's not that. He pulled something out of the middle of the valve stem.
I didn't see what it was. And put something new in it's place. The air was leaking form the stem itself. My main point was i was giving the dealership
for not trying to sell me a 150.00 valve stem....
