Beware of those cheap Controllers that will only amplify the signal that's being sent from the gas pedal and make it feel as if you were driving faster with the same gas pedal travel.
These will not improve the Throttle response, neither eliminate lag.

That needs explanation! İ thought your unit does exactly the same, amplify the the signal so That throttle plates open more for the same gas pedal application. what is the difference?

I have a Vitesse and have no complaints, but the secretive cloak surrounding what it does or doesn't do gets tiring. I fail to see how these gadgets can do anything but amplify the signal. Even if you change the shape of the signal curve as it relates to pedal travel, for example make it linear, that would just be variable amplification over the range of travel to offset and cancel out the non-liner ECM curve. All the pedal does is send a signal, how that signal is put to work is all in the ECM, and the stock ECM only recognizes the type, and range, of signal that the stock pedal puts out.

Nothing secret about it , you are spot on what it does .... the factory puts negative exponential into the throttle response so the power does not all come in at once .... ( think warranty and making sure we go straight when we trounce on the pedal )
The Vitesse just removes this expo by putting positive expo in ... a Tune can do the same thing but then you are stuck with just one response that is tuned in , the beauty of the Vitesse is the on the fly adjustability
On the Automatics the factory turns on "Torque Management" in 1st and 2nd with an Auto ... you want an instant kick in the pants gain ?turn off TM ....... but hold on to your hat and be prepared as you might break things ...

No, our Controller will remap the Gas pedal and will also remove that delay that's built in by GM.
The remapping will allow you to attain a 1:1 ratio between your Gas pedal travel and the Throttle Body Blade opening: ex: 50% Gas pedal = 50% Throttle Body blade open, this way it will feel as a hard cable connected and controlled throttle body, just like it used to be in the old days.
The second most important feature on the controller is it will allow you to eliminate that delay ( The time between when you step on the gas pedal and the time the engine reacts and starts accelerating ). The is the real "Throttle response" improvement, not what other controllers do by making you feel as the car is going faster just because you're reaching higher speeds with less gas pedal travel.
