I was a few years from getting my driver's license, but I still vividly remember the debut of the '64-1/2 Mustang. Truly affordable cool that caught mighty GM with its pants down. Took 'em about three years to cook up the Camaro.
Enjoy your new Mustang -- it also has a great heritage. A true American icon.

Personally, I've never been a one-brand person, we have a bunch of toys (Fords, Chevys, & Dodges), I just like cars.
