OE Wheels

2 ozs would be doing well.
Now for a top of the line forged rim one would expect much less additional weight to be needed and the price will be $1,000 per rim if not more nowadays.
Not here to argue with others that have had success with the OE brand.
Just some general comments that a shopper should be aware of.
Quality can be lacking so be sure of warranty and choose carefully. This is why I like a local shop. You can have more control from the get go.
I have a rim on my 96 4Runner that takes 5 ozs.
It is American Racing and it has been on the car since 1996.
It Is a pain to get balanced and so much depends on the tech.
It is my around town car so I have learned to live with it.
In a performance car scenario this wouldn't work too well.
I had a set of 4 $1800 rims from a well respected speed shop forum vendor and they took too much weight too. 3 ozs anyway. And the finish was sketchy in the tight spaces between the spokes.
Personally with my past experience with aftermarket rims I have learned my lesson. If you can not afford quality just pass.
The funny thing is at my age I will probably not be buying another vehicle. So wisdom comes late!
