The car I just bought (05 C6 LS2 6-speed) is supposed to be a Z-51 car but how can I tell that it really is one. I'm familiar to the C4's but this car is in a complete different league than my other two C-4's I have now. This car is great and love it but the only thing I wish they carried over was the wrap-around cockpit dash of the later c4's. Other than that this car is aw-sum! But again with certainty,How can i tell this is a Z-51 car?
Look on the inside of the glove box door on the far left side as u sit in the passenger seat just past to the left end box itself will be a sticker it lists all the option on a car when it was delivered. Look for the code z51 if its there it is a z51 if no code it isn't

OK I'll have a look. duh I should have thought of that since my 92's have their RPO'S there too. I have a Corvette black book but it's too old to check and see what all RPO's this car has. Anyone have a RPO list for the 05's?

I've also got an '05 Z51 & as the OP noted, the code is on the sticker in the glove box. And the fact that there may be drilled rotors installed is no positive evidence.....they may be aftermarket.
The car is not with me for a couple of days because it's having the harmonic balancer replaced because of the problem they had with them. I bought it only if they agreed to replace it regardless "if" it looks fine. So I won't see the glove box lid RPO's until I get it back. But yes it does have the drilled rotors as I did notice them. They guessing are probably stock on the car too. I'm thinking that as this car has not been modified in any way that I can see.
I Also ordered the skip shift eliminator and the Column Lock Delete wire loom to so I won't have that problem either. Just tiring to cross some of my I's and T's.
So far this car is a blast to drive and worlds different than my C-4's that I have now. These C6's are very new to me so Ill be asking lots of question's too.
Thanks for all the help!
