I've got a full exhaust (headers, x pipe and B&B Fusion mufflers) that I took off my 2005 Vette. I'm curious if it will work on the 2012 Grand Sport that I just bought. I know they changed the shape of the piping sometime around 2008 but will that matter if I've got a full setup from the earlier cars?
I posted this in Tech as well but I figured I'll get more responses this way.

Just contact the manufacturer for the fitment. For some cat backs the pipe bend is different for the A-6 and the M-6 for transaxle clearance.
If it doesn't fit 100% I'm sure a muffler shop can tweak it to make it work for you. The overall shape of things needed for the C6 changed very little over the years. The grand sport is the same chassis wise underneath.

Yes! That assumes that both cars were manual trans, or both cars were auto trans. The "over the axle" pipes make the difference. LS2 and LS3 long tube headers are the same.
Your 05 was an LS2 and your new car is a LS3 so I would doubt it.
Like lots of other engine families, the LS2 and the LS3 are pretty much the same physical chunk. Unless they have different heads there's no reason why the '05 headers won't fit up to the '12 LS3. Like 265s, 283s, 327s and 350s, they all fit in the same hole.
I almost forgot. Check with B&B regarding the fitment.
