I been looking for to upgrade my Corvette and i found a nice newer C6. found a 2008 coupe with 2 tops. only mod i could find was a breather kit
this car has 6400 miles. is there anything i should be concerned about to not purchase this car. asking price is 28999.
Thanks in advance.

have a GM dealer run the VIS report for this VIN, shows all build information and options and includes any GM service history........... free of charge for them to do it too........... check balancer to see if it wobbles............. pricing is fair for the low mileage, if the car is clean

Since when does VIS give you the build sheet and options? I had two run this week, and all I got was basic vehicle info, recall info, and service records. If the dealer is giving me something other than a VIS, I need to know, because that is exactly what I am requesting.

I'd trust the RPO tag in the glove box way more than the VIS report. In years past they were very inaccurate, I don't know if they've improved.

Apples and kumquats. The VIS details any work done at a GM dealership. The build sheet (separate document) details all options on the car.
Just sayin...

The "build sheet" you reference is looked up through GMVIS, just as the repair info and recall/special policy info is.

Just sayin'

I would say that car is worth maybe $25k in my neck of the woods, the mileage is low at 6,400, so it should be nice and clean. Make sure you do a Carfax

Well, alrighty, then...I guess I will have to be much more specific when I ask they guy at the counter for info on a vehicle. I thought I could only get service records. Good to know.

$28.9K sounds a tad high.

Low miles for sure. But heck, new 2017 1LT base coupes are going for in the $45-$47k range.

Price seems good due to the low mileage but at that price car should be perfect

Try and get it for $27k. It's worth paying a bit for for a low mileage garage queen if it's the color & options you want.

I'm really surprised at least 5 people on here haven't implied you are lying! They must be more laid back because of the cold weather. Without a picture, it didn't happen.
