Real PITA to install due to the access. I took the pedal out so I could install a pedal kit and the controller.

Some have tried ignition on and no start.

Mine took me a couple tries to get it programmed. Let me see if I can remember...

Press the Start button down without your foot on the brake and the accessory power should come on.

Hold down both Buttons and after a couple seconds you will eventually see a countdown from 3...2...1. A letter L will display along with a value (0.4). That is your Low Voltage. Release both buttons.

Now press and release the Left button and an H will appear with a value (0.4).

Now depress the gas peddle to the floor and press and release the left button again. Should show 100.

Release the gas petal and then shut down the acc power.

Start the Vette, and it should be functional. I would start out with SP4 or SP5. Made a lot of difference for me...

Good luck and enjoy!

Too bad. Do you have a Tire Engineers in your local area? One of their techs should be able to install the unit in less than 3 minutes. It is a literal pain, but not difficult. Once it is re-installed, the configuration is fairly simple and the results are worth it 100x over. I cannot express the difference it makes...

You need to hold the start button down for a few seconds until it goes into accessory mode. Did you just push it down or hold it down?

Don't give up, this thing is one of my favorite installs on the car. Every now and again I'll switch the mode back to stock and try to drive it only to remember why I love SP5 so much. I agree it's in a rough spot but it is worth it when its installed.

Just as everyone above stated , press and hold the start button with your foot off the pedal .... this will put the car in Run mode , you will be able to program it from there

You have to do the same when you load a tune with a Diablo
