Door wont open

Does it work when the car is running, if it does (correction)check the battery volts
Check the indexing with the window switch, when the car is running, up 3 seconds, down 3 seconds....might be in your book
Check the switch on that side
Could be the door latch is going
You can probably search the forum on those items, plus just the window operation. If not Google them and something will probably come up on your year and/or C6 window operation.
If it's a window motor you might find out that too.
Hope that helps, someone here has probably gone through this and could give you more things to check, Good luck.

Also 90% of switch problems is the exterior switch. Interior switches fail rarely.
The outside switch has never failed to work getting into the car.
Only the inside door switch (button) fails getting out and only at times.
I love my C-6 but they certainly have there strange electrical gremlin's

If you have a manual shift, I think you have to be in a gear (reverse?) with the brake on to open doors after you turn the engine off. Check you manual. If the door works from the outside, the fob, door pad, and latch is probably working. Check your manual(book).
You are dealing with the Fob(outside switch), the door latch mechanism(where the door locks against the car), and the door pad that you push to open the door. If all of those are working(door opens from outside) then it would be the inside switch(intermittent) or some other electrical/computer problem. Maybe the position of a manual shifter and brake and after turning the engine off before it goes to sleep mode.

I took the pad off and cleaned it and it still didn't work so I switched it with the passenger side pad and bamm, so I order two new pads might as well change both. Thanks.
