My Cig fuse blew so I researched here and found some threads that said it was under the passenger toe board and a easy deal. Well I am now 70+ years old and I have not been able to see it. When I pull down the carpet, I see the BCM and some fuses and I see the diagram that shows the IP fuse block to the right of them where the fuse I need is, but when I look up at the BCM, it appears I have a cover over the IP block on the right and the block at the bottom has one too. So far I have not figured out how to undo the metal spring clips that are holding them on. There is a pair of connectors whose wires come down over the IP's cover and make it even harded to get a hold of it. Any one know how to get the cover off, I have gotten one end or the other lose, but fear pulling too hard to pop it off may break something. Thanks in advance. BTW my car is a base 2008 convertible.
Thanks Frank, this is what I needed I was unable to release that tab spring and was afraid it would break. I will try again when the rain stops thanks again a great forum of shared information.
I just went down to the garage and opened the door on my 2008 Victory Red convertible to look at the panel. I pulled back the floor board, then disconnect the Blue BCM connector that is covering the panel you want to access. I just reached in and grab the cover from the top and bottom with my thumb and pointer finger, using my fingers to push the spring clips away from the cover. The cover came off easily and slipped back on just as easily. Good luck!
