After reading probably a dozen or more threads on NPP, and pulling the fuse, and M2W switches and the likes, I decided to pull the fuse, just to get a little taste and see if I wanted to go one of the aforementioned routes. My car is a 2013 LS3 with canned Diablo tune. Pulled the fuse, drove about 50 miles, and bang, CEL. InTune pulled code P219A. Lean or rich bank so and so. Cleared code by unhooking battery, as the InTune would not clear it, set tune back to stock, put maybe another 100 miles on it, and was just deciding I liked the NPP open, then bang, CEL. Did I miss the one thread that discussed this issue arising on a 2013 if left "open" all the time? Because every one I read, everyone said no CEL this, no CEL that.
It's not the NPP. I have a 2013 and run with the dampers open all the time and no issues. They are designed to be open on start up and above a certain RPM from the factory.
Thanks for the input fellas! I will get under the car this weekend and see what I can see. I'm thinking it must be exhaust related. Cats gutted, off road X pipe maybe?! And an 02 sensor doesn't like it?! I'm mechanically inclined, but I'm not a mechanic. You start talking about specs on internal parts, it's all Greek to me. Any other things to check that could be related? It's a bone 2013 LS3/A6 with NPP, for now. Code P219A, bank 1 air/fuel off. Rich or lean. Thanks!
