Default Problem Gear Reverse

Now that I've made my presentation, I want to ask a first question.

I bought the clutch master cylinder, the pedal was not going back 100% the position. The parts will arrive in another 15 days

My question, before that I was having difficulty engaging in a march, I had to engage a 1st and then engage the reverse. Is the problem already because of the master cylinder? Or problem in the gears of change?

It's common to put a C5 clutch return spring in C6 Vettes. Check to see yours is not broken. Check to see if the bushings are not worn out or out of position on your shifter. New bushings can be purchased. C6 Corvettes are known to be a little fussy putting them into reverse. I've read a MGW shifter corrects this.

I guess I don't understand the question. You made a presentation??? You were having difficulty engaging in a march? Gears of change?

If your clutch is not returning all the way to the top, this could lead to dis-engagement issues of the gears, as the fluid will not return correctly and also may have a lower than normal brake pedal.
As CadVette has said, check for a bad return spring up under the dash connected to the clutch arm/pedal.
