i want to do Track Days ( TurnOne, Hooked on Driving, etc) with my 2013 C6 convertible, being told I will need a SCCA approved roll bar. need help determining options and installation, info appreciated.
You might try this one (100-246C) http://breathlessracing.com/index.ph...ewCat&catId=78 . Not sure if it meets SCCA, but you can call and check with the company. This bar has the fewest alterations of any that I researched (4 bolt holes in floor behind seats and 4 holes in the carpet). I bought mine simply to add a margin of safety on the street. It's about a 4 hour DIY project.

RPM Roll bar installation turned out better than expected, function and look! Tried to do myself, removed seats, carpet etc... wised-up & decided to take to experienced shop. ACES Automotive in Indian Trail NC did the installation, awesome job, highly recommend them for any Corvette work, contact Chris-owner, 704-684-0265. This RPM Roll Bar meets requirement for all HPDE track day events. check it out; sales@rpmrollbar.com , ask for Rob, he gets it!
