if you have a Sirius account on another vehicle, they do offer a kit where you can add it to the existing radio set up in your car............. not free but less expensive than replacing a whole unit............friend had one in his daily driver, not a Corvette, worked fine too

FWIW I just received a letter from Sirius XM advising I can sign up for two months of satellite radio with no strings attached. No credit card info requested, and the service automatically ends at the two month mark. I called, and got the service reactivated. It originally ended for me in Feb. '16 after the one year free subscription.
