Hey guys,
I installed the katech coil relocation kit in my z-06. Is there any problem with the coil connector (the big white one) laying on the fuel rails? I have seen many stick the connector between two coils which i did the first time and tried covering the wires with wire covers (see first pic). I did not like the look. So then, I ran the wires under the fuel line, painted the white connector black, and moved it up and away from the coils (see second pic). I like this look a lot better. But is there any problem with it laying up on the lines? I know they can get hot, but everything under the engine bay is hot. thoughts??

Plus, the fuel rails, having a constant flow of fresh cold fuel flowing through them are probably one of the colder places under the hood and at most running moments - RELATIVELY speaking. That connector is made to withstand more heat than what the fuel rail can generate.

Thanks guys! That makes me feel a lot better. I took it out for a quick drive and the fuel rails were pretty hot and that's what got me a little worried. Everything looked good after a 20 min drive. I just didn't want to damage anything if I took a long trip.
