Easy door panel install tips!
instaling the door panels is very easy, searching on here there was rally no good advise so maybe this will help someone. Spent an hour on the first one trying to get the 4 metal tabs hooked first!
The easy way i found is to just mount the panel on the door making sure the tabs are all in there holes and bang it on, then looking from the window slot i marked where the 4 tabs were and marked them with tape on the other side of the door window slot. Next i grabbed the top of the door panel and pulled the top so it lifted the metal tabs up then pushed them in one at a time working my way down the door one at a time. took 30 seconds to do the 2nd door. hope this makes sense, easiest way to describe is thumbs on the inner top of the panel and fingers on panel pulling with thumbs which lifts the metal tabs! PS. to remove the panels is (drivers side) remove cover under the handle pull and remove the 2 #30 torks screws then pull it off starting at the bottom.
Passenger side also has 2 #30 torks, one under the door release button, just carefully pry it up and one more under under the door pull, no cover.
also, new clips can be ordered on Ebay for about $14 (they can break if you don't pull straight out!)
