2007 navigation system question

Default 2007 navigation system question

Used the nav system for first time in about 5 yrs and can't recall how to shut it down. Manual does not seem to go into shut down. Can anyone advise. Tks 2007c6bob

You mean just turn it off? Push the volume ****.

Thanks for the reply - I thought I tried that but the radio just turned on and off but I'll try again...... The radio and gps are all linked together on the dash.

What exactly are you trying to do? Cancel nav is
Menu-route options-cancel guidance.

And if you just want to get your radio screen back, press the 'srce' button to the left of the screen (just above the 'nav' button)

If you touch the source button first to display the radio, then push the power button, it will turn off and display the Corvette emblem screen.

Did you receive a NAV manual when you purchased your car? If not, there is a 2008 (radios are basically the same) NAV manual you can download on-line. There is no information on the NAV system in the regular owners manual. Hope this helps.

Here is what I have just done,and it worked,got me right back to the corvette badge. Switch over to a radio function from nav,by pressing the radio on/off ****,then press the square button in the vertical line of about four on the left that reads like sage,or sace,then press the radio on/off **** again.job done,cool vette logo back on !

Yep , manual has nothing to say on it. Maybe a case of W.T.F.M. as in WRITE it !!
