Track racing
i just bought a c6 2009 corvette stock. Tips for racing at the track ? Takeoff tips? Best acceleration tips? I have experience driving a manual but never raced. What gear to take off on? 1st or 2nd? And what rpm to takeoff on ? 2500-3000? Everyone please give me your best tips from owing a corvette

Read the owners manual. Drive it. Read the owners manual. Get used to car. Read the owners manual. Drive it more. Hope this helps. I'm guessing you are talking about 1/4 mile track. I think you want to start in 1st gear, if its a manual. Depending on tires, track conditions, weather...too many factors to consider. Practice would be my suggestion.
