Default C5-C6 seated position differences

Interested in purchasing a C5 or C6 in the near future.
I went and drove a 2004 C5 the other day and noticed my head was close to the roof, I have not sat or driven a C6 yet and was wondering if the seat positions are the same on both models?
Thx

My head sits very close to the roof, I am 5'11 with a slightly long torso. I hope that gives an idea of how you will fit.

a little over 6'5" here, had 2 C5 Z06s and now have a C6 Grand Sport, and I never felt cramped in either car, though I feel like i have more room in the C6.

I'd probably have issues wearing a helmet in either car, but could make it work by moving the seat up a touch to allow for more of a reclined position, at the expense of taking away a little legroom.

Edit: to give more info that might help, i have a 34" inseam.

I'm a bit over 5'6" and have my C6 seat all the way down and I've got about 4" of headroom. I think it really depends more on torso length and arm length (rake of backrest) than standing height. Also I have the transparent roof which I believe may have more headroom than the painted roof. I feel a bit closer to the wheel (non-telescoping) and gearshift than I'd like ideally also.

5'11 here. Seats all the way to the bottom, slightly leaned back. No issues whatsoever.

6'3" here -- had both C5 and now two C6 GS -- one has th painted roof and the other a transparent roof. all three - no head room issues.

No dont ask me about room in a C7 -- cuz there is only about half as much room in that ugly beast.

On our C5, my head would brush the inside of the transparent top while seated with the seat adjusted full down. I finally took out two of the four springs that hold the little "trampoline" under the bottom cushion and fixed the problem.

On both of our C6's, with the seat almost-but-not-quite fully down, my head does not brush the inside of the transparent top and in fact I can wear a hat that adds at least 1" to my height, still no rubbing.

YMMV
