I have an 07 and I'm thinking about installing headers, I don't track the car I presently have NPP exhaust and factory air intake, it's mostly for a more aggressive sound and added HP, so what all do I need. Thanks

I'm running AR Headers with their hi-flow cats & X-pipe thru Corsa mufflers. That same set up should work fine with your NPP mufflers. Definitely a more aggressive sound.
I have NPP on my 2006, and added Kooks LTs with HF Cats and then street tuned it with HP Tuners. I would guess about 35% louder with the NPP open, and quiet as stock with them closed. At WOT and NPP open it sounds awesome with cackle and burble while decelerating (6spd manual.) The only downside is the drone with the NPP open at cruise speeds, closing the NPP eliminate the drone.
As for performance, huge improvement! BTW, I removed all torque management with HP Tuners. At 20 to 25 MPH in first gear and rolling on the throttle I break the tires loose with ease.
I guess my ears are more sensitive than yours. Running with the NPP valves open all the time just irritates the hell out of me .. but that's just me.
In fact, I installed a set of Pfadt long tube headers along with there catted x-pipe. With the NPP valves closed, the sound was just slightly louder than with the stock exhaust manifolds and NPP valves closed ... nothing bad at all. Actually really nice.
But, when the NPP valves were open at full throttle, this 2011 GS was obnoxiously loud! Much louder than with the stock exhaust manifolds and the NPP valves fully open.
My fix for this was to remove the NPP mufflers and install a set of Borla "Touring" mufflers .... perfect with the headers now.

On my 2008, with stock NPP mufflers, I went with LGM Super Pro catted setup. My car already had a stamped x-pipe, but their LT headers, hi-flow cats, and real x-pipe have brought my car to life. More power - better sound, and when needed, I use M 2 W switch to close the baffles to quiet things down. Useful for road trips. Wonderful to have great sound that announces a great car has arrived!
Why spend the money on new mufflers? Customize your NPP sound. I used the adjustable collars and made the closed NPP sound the way I want it too. Not to quiet, not to loud. Just the right amount of burble/crackal and no drone when closed but loud and mean when open.
No matter how good a aftermarket exhaust sounds it is always the same. I like the two different sounds I get out of the modded NPP.
