Key Fob
I need to replace one of my FOB's for my 2011 C6, 2 questions, do I have to state if it's for driver #1 or #2 and the most important question, any ideas where would be the cheapest to buy one? Thanks for your help

If I were buying new, I check out Cultrag Performance. Cheaper than the dealer. I know they sell a set of two for $206, but I don't know if they sell individually.
Here's an example from ebay for $85 shipped (#1 fob). It comes without the key, so if you've lost your fob, you'll need to look at others. Several are available. If you only need one, I'd try ebay.

My #1 FOB has stopped working. I've replaced the battery and it didn't help. If i use a screw driver and short the circles on the circuit board it works but it won't work when I put it back together and use the buttons. I'm assuming that the back if the buttons have carbon or some conductor impregnated in the silicone and has quit working.
I have an almost identical FOB from a Cadillac and I'm wondering if it can be re-programmed for the Vette?

I stopped by the Chevy dealer and they put the Fob in their checker and they said it was bad. They didn't know if the Cadillac FOB would program to the Corvette. They said all we can do is try it and see. They charge $135 to re-program a FOB so I told them I'd have to think about that. They said I would still have to pay the $135 even if it didn't work. They want $300 for a new FOB and programming. I guess that's the Corvette tax.

Ebay seems to be the cheapest place to get them.
