2011 Grand Sport Callaway SC606 Value ???
Hey guys,
What's a 2011 Grand Sport 1LT Callaway SC606 with under 5,000 miles worth?
I don't know the value that Callaway adds to a vette.
Anyways, this car is like new but being a 1LT it has no extras that most every other car has.
Really on the fence here and don't want to over pay.
Thanks
Dan

It all depends what you're willing to pay for. Some people are big Callaway fans and will pay the premium for them. Some people will see it as a car with colt on modifications and price it accordingly.
It all depends on what the value you see in it is. Do you want it because it's a callaway, or because it's supercharged? It will have limited collector appeal, to anyone who isn't a diehard callaway person, so don't fall into that line of thinking.
For me, I see it as a compromised non factory zr1. You can get a zr1 for 60k, so I'd say no higher than 50k. Being a 1lt, I wouldn't even consider it, but I'd consider prices below 50k for a 3lt. If you don't want the toys, and just want the lightest possible car, then it might not be bad for 40 to 45.

I see it as a 2011 grand sport with low miles, and a supercharger. The name does nothing for me.. however with the miles at 5k but the options package at the entry level I would suspect the cars going to sell for somewhere between 49k-53k if you can convince the seller than it's missing the prerequisite features you'd expect on such a car.
The 11 GS C 3LT model is begging for somewhere around 54-57k depending on mileage.

Dan,
I do not see it as a compromised non factory ZR1. It comes with the same warranty as the ZR1. It is also a much lower production car. As far as being an LT1 as a driver you will lose some features for daily driving. As a weekend car who cares.
The tires must be replaced if they r OEM.
Callaway has a long list of options available. That should play into your decision. Their can be a an easy 15k spread on what is in the car.
5 k tells me it's a Sunday driver. I would expect it to be almost like new. It could be a great find.
I suggest that you drive the car. It may just put a big smile on your face.
To buy or not to buy what a great problem👍

I'll give you my take. I just bought a 2012 GS 4LT Callaway convertible Centennial Edition Six speed car. 4.5K miles for 55,000. I thought it was a screaming good deal, considering the car was 110,000 with the Callaway options. That said, I think my example is an anomaly. I agree with those who think the Callaway is more than a modified Corvette. The production numbers are pretty low on these cars. I almost never see them for sale in NC. OP , the car you are looking at IMO, would be between 52-55K. Awesome cars, for sure . Good luck .

Bought a 2010 Callaway GS 3LT vert Oct after it was listed in the low 50's for about 2 months. 11,000 miles. Paid 45,000 and was thrilled with the deal and have been offered that price serval times since I bough it. Now that I have it I can tell you Callaways are very cool and the sound of that supercharger is intoxicating Kinda nice having something different and not seen everyday. No regrets. Good luck!!

Outstanding. These cars have torque everywhere, prepare to buy new rear tires!
