I know the feeling. But I realized I could not take the stress every time I shifted and finally bit the bullet. Since I do cross country drives it had to be done. Now I need to do the lock pawl deal. Tried it once but had an "issue". Will try again later. It has never given me a problem in the past(I'm screwed now)!
I know what my dumb a$$ will do about it. Nothing. Then one day i'll be cursing up a storm somewhere cause i didn't do the right thing and change it before it broke.....
