Default C6 Bluetooth Options

I have an 07 base model and wanted to install a blue tooth. Last season I purchased one from Best Buy for $50, the type you plug into the lighter accessory. It worked okay, I was able to listen to my music. I then started to have problems with the FOB's. It continued to happen even after replacing the FOB batteries. I then replaced the car battery and still had the same problems. I was ready to take the car to the dealer and it stopped. I finally realized the FOB issues only happened when I left the blue tooth plugged in. I'm guessing it's a frequency issue.
Has anyone had any success with a good quality blue tooth that's compatible with an 07, with a Bose system? Thanks!

I'd get an RCA plug added to the radio and then get am inexpensive plug-in Bluetooth receiver/microphone.

If you already have RCA Aux input, then you just need the $15 plug in Bluetooth.

Or even better, a $6 one.

I have an 07 convertible and I just installed the AUX-2 Harness from Ray Kawal so I would have an auxiliary port for the radio, (www.kawal.net/vettemods.htm) it was an easy install and it works great. I just purchased the Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit which is recommended by Ray and will attach to the plug on the harness making the phone wire free. Sound is great and it works very good.

I put an iSimple Tranzit-Blu HF in my 911, as I did not want to bother wiring an aux plug just to get bluetooth. The Tranzit goes in series with the antenna input. Works great, lots of guys have done it. (My Vette came with a bluetooth-capable aftermarket head unit).

Hey Thorn811, i bought the exact same thing from Ray Kawal and the Kinivo unit, installed them myself and never looked back.
