Ha, are they anything beyond just a .com website now?

You may know all this already, but back in the day AOL, Compuserve, and I think one other place were "portals," the easy, painless way of going online.

The internet, as we know it today, was mostly for techno-geeks and brave people, lol. I dipped my toe in, I'm guessing, around '96 but AOL seemed like a lifeline, so I hung onto it for another couple of years til I got comfortable with dedicated browsers and email clients (which I still use).

Not that anybody cares, but the most beautiful woman I ever dated was from AOL. She emailed me in December, 1994, thinking I was an old boyfriend. I wasn't, but I became a new one. She was, in a word, stunning. Being at a family forum here, I will spare you the inch-by-inch description.

Only the name, I don't recall using it or anything about it. I'm guessing the first browser I used once I got off AOL (around 1996) was probably Explorer. I jumped to Firefox in 2004 and have used it ever since. There were "Netscape" browsers too (which was what AOL used behind the scenes, with their own interface, if I recall correctly), but I think they morphed into or merged with another one.

Ha, AOL was actually a bit pricey, and you had a limited amount of time each month. I finally put two and two together, and if I was posting on forums I would "copy and paste" (something new and cool to me) the people I wanted to respond to, sign off to save the minutes, take my time composing answers, go back online and post them, lol.

And then there was my dear, late mother trying to call me in the evenings and my phone was always "busy."

That's like putting deodorant on a raunchy armpit and expecting it to "cover" the smell.

Mold mildew growing on the AC coils. Take cabin filter out and spray bleach water in the opening while the blower is running on high.

That's how I fixed mine. Also try limiting the amount of time the AC is on. With the auto settings it runs a lot so the coils stay damp. Will grow back if you don't
