Exhuast Tips
Sorry for sounding stupid but when I got my C6 I noticed that I only had 2 tips and most of the ones I have ever seen have had quad tips. Is there any benefit to have quad tips or are 2 of the tips just for looks. Personally I like the look of the quad tips and will be getting those replaced. Just curious.

I think the OP was just asking if the quad tips actually made any difference in the performance. The straight answer is depending on the mufflers that the car has. If the OP's car has two tips the original mufflers have been replaced with aftermarket which could be a "Performance" muffler maybe providing a slight performance increase but mostly for sound and looks. Two or four tips are a personal choice tied directly to the mufflers installed on the car. Performance mufflers come in a variety of configurations both two and four tip.

Thanks Cmonkey . yes indeed it does have aftermarket mufflers. They are Magnaflows . I was mainly just asking if it makes any difference to the overall performance of the car. I personally from what I have heard on other vette like the Borla or Corsa mufflers better than magnaflows.
