I have a 2005 Corvette with the factory navigation. How do I clear Points of Interest (POI) which are no longer needed on the screen?

From what I can remember, in the settings for the Nav go to the "show POI on map" and turn it off.

When you have the main screen that shows the POI's (hotels, restaurants, etc.) then touch the screen, and you get the following:
Simply touch POI's Off, and they all dissapear from the main screen

I've searched but couldn't find an option to change the NAV keyboard to QWERTY.
Is there?

For fun you should try the voice command. All you have to say is "POI OFF". However, chances are, it will do something totally unrelated....

I have never, I mean never, been able to get the voice command to do anything even close to what I am asking it to do.

Same here. I am pulling out the stock NAV and replacing with a head unit with Apple CarPlay. Siri works so much better.
