Default Hyper Flash Fix Adapter

Was searching Ebay last night for a soloution & came up with this...
3157 Decoder Hyper Flash Fix Wiring Adapter For LED Turn Signal Light:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/381737901831

I was wondering if I could actually use this adapter; I read in the listing that the resistor get very hot. There's a lot of plastic in that area on our Vette's

If so, this would enable me to skip out on all of the "wiring" that I would have to go thru to do this mod:

I believe only one load resister is needed per side but the Ebay kit has one for each. The center wire load would be on alot for daytime running lights and would stay rather hot all the time. I would cut out the that one, not needed. Only need to use the one connecting the outside wires.

But for $10 and saving factory harness, sounds good.

That's exactly what I was thinking; I didn't want to get into splicing the factory harness. It would be both time consuming & a chance at making a mistake for me.

I didn't even noticed that they placed 2 load resistors on each
How would I determine which one to cut & which one to keep?

Ok...Thanks.
I purchased a few new parts last night (Push-start ignition button, 2 door release buttons; 2 front bumper-wing clips) so I would have to wait on this mod.

Absolutely no reason to place a resistor on the parking light lead as it is only required on the "bright" turn signal lead of the harness.

I was told that the Turn Signal will require a resistor to be installed for this mod.
Once the led bulb it added it will cause the signal lights to flash rapidly.
The only way around this is snipping the wires or hopefully this aftermarket harness.

You'll have to use resisters to put a load on that circuit, otherwise the bcm will think the turn signal bulb is bad hence the hyperflash. LEDs pull very little current so the need for a load resister. The resister will only be in play when turn signal is active and I believe brakes as well.
