I have run 5k miles with my M6 equipped with supposed custom exhaust. At least that is what the dealer said. lol. I have the 2.5" Muffler Rack specials with $20.00 tips. It's loud upon initial start up but is quiet if you stay out of it. I'm putting long tubes on next. Mine is as loud as the video posted in my opinion but I do have cats on my 05.
I have no doubt dumping the exhaust under the cabin would set off the airbags. Cool video.

Just FYI - the vibrations from this sort of exhaust can cause your airbags to deploy. Especially at higher speed.

Sounds AWEsome OP!! Been running my LS2 A6 with CAI, LT and HF cats with tune and straight pipes, for over 10k. Tore interior out and totolaly sound/heat insulated with 2 part Raam Audio kit on the inside. Then on underside I dropped TT, TX, and Dif and used one part heat and sound suppressor from Thermo-Tec on entire undercarriage. Loud as S#!+ with windows down. Nice and quite when they are up. Camaro video= pissed! Cool to watch, but as a car guy...it hurts a bit. LoL
