must be new to the English language, my xray long distance vision broke this week, but if I had to guess I'd say your couplers are shot.
Sorry for my bad English. The car is a 05 z51 with manual gear. The sound is a dunk when a clutch is released .. and when one releases gas in the first gear

If you are releasing gas in the first gear, I would suggest laying off the beans or broccoli
Pull the caps off the rear wheels, get a 34mm socket and torque the rear axle nuts to 140 ft lbs. There's a TSB out that says to replace the nuts with new ones and torque to 160 ft lbs, but stock was 140. Just pull off the center caps, not the wheels. Takes about 2 minutes. If that doesn't fix it you can go farther, but it stopped mine. You can also search for the TSB and read it for yourself. Use "TSB for C6 axle nut popping" or something similar. All from 2005 thru at least 2013.
Also could be just a fluid change for the dif. I do mine regularly. I recommend the stuff they sell at the GM parts counter. Clunking is a sign the fluid needs replacement. As also suggested check the axel nuts.
Mine is at the transmission shop now for a simular issue. Mine makes a clunk when you release the brake pedal quickly at low speeds or when you come off the throttle in 1st or 2nd. I think it is an output bearing but they will find out.
Will post when it is resolved.
BTW mine would make noise when rear tire was rocked back and forth while in gear or park.
