Leather wrapping some interior panels

I have the leather pieces for the door panels from the same source. I've been converting my interior to black and red. The door panel work is a few weeks away but if the OP isn't able to post by then, I will post picks of my doors and if I remember, I will take a few photos of the process. No guarantee on how they will turn out though.

Going to try to show start to finish. Here are a couple of pics of the inner halo covering. I'll start working on the install tonight after work.
How it shows up.
The leather laid out.
Backside
The clips that hold the inner halo in place.

Just finished with the heat gun. This piece was a little challenging due to the curves in the Targa latch cove. I'm pleased with it though. I'll post pics after I reinstall.

I did my e-brake handle in black with red stitch. Not an exact match to GM red stitch but close enough. Going to do the gauge pods next then probably door pulls. Great quality pieces.

So I received my door sill leather in today and went right at it. I watched numerous youtube videos to get an idea how the pro's do it. I sanded down the panel with 200 grit sandpaper and wiped it clean with rubbing alcohol. I used contact cement from home depot and just worked with about 6 inches of leather a time when applying the cement. I used little .49 cent clips from depot to hold the leather in place on the back side of the panel while drying. Turned out pretty damn good:

Where did you get the clips you are using to hold it in place. I realize a clothespin make work as well but those look a little stronger and more durable.
thanks
