Default C-6 Headlights

My C-6 headlights seem to be dinged and knicked up from the inside. Outside is nice and smooth. Anybody else dealing with this issue? What is the cause? Remedy? Cheers!

Its been reported here and there. No one says that there is a real cause except just wear and tear of the material vs. the type of headlight vs. time.

Easiest remedy would be to replace the lenses. Do a search for RL Sebring to decide if this is the route you want to take.

Interested to know what year your car is, and does it frequently spend a lot of time outside in the sun.

Mine is similar. I have read that, and believe, it is caused by condensation inside the lens. I take that as an engineering defect in that different temps or weather cause this because they are not sealed or set up to prevent this. Some say it will fog up but then when the lights are on the heat will dissipate the condensation or when warmer this will disappear. It obviously does not in some cases, and has been seen on newer cars sitting on a lot. Just what I have seen and heard others saying and that's what it looks like on mine. Can't see it much but when the lights are on it really shows. Was that way when I bought it but didn't look like it unless the lights were on. 2006 Vert, looked like garage kept, but was used between Palm Springs and Canada.

Most of the lens from the C6 have issues. I would love to replace my
Lens but it looks like the job is too much for me. I would like to see the C7 headlight after 10 years to see if they have this problem as well.

2006 and don't know. Just bought it 6 months ago. Everything else seems to be in great shape. The headlights just bug me. I have done a lot of research on replacing the lens so I am thinking I will do that at some point.

I have a "new to me" with small crack inside lens as well. Drive me nuts. I believe they are heat crack from sun.
