How many tires for a Grand Sport can you fit in the hatch? Can I at least fit the two rear ones? Or front ones? Just tires with no wheels. Hatch must close.

I would say 3 tires in the hatch and two of them being the fronts. MAX.
thanks. That would be great. I can measure right now because I am not home. So any suggestion will help. I am moving and towing the car and buying new set of tires but do not have time to install so I am trying to figure out if I can fit most of them inside the car itself.

Not sure about just the tires, but with the wheels, not many....

So if the car is being towed, two should fit in trunk and can the other two occupy the cabin area where people usually sit? You could defiantly get all 4 then.
You can put the 2 rear tires in the back if you stagger them with one in the left rear corner and the other toward the right front and partially on the fuel crossover channel. You might be able to fit the 2 front tires on the passenger seat. I've transported my drag tires/wheels this way several times, but my fronts are skinnies, so the GS width might be an issue. The alternative for the fronts would be one on the passenger seat then fold and move the driver's seat to the front limit for the other tire.
If you are packing other stuff in with the tires, periodically check for clearance on the struts by closing the hatch.
