I'm looking for the insert that goes into the hood vent/scoop on a 2012 Grand Sport........any idea where I can find one?

Umm, no C6 Grand Sport that I have seen has a hood vent/scoop from the factory. Could you post a picture so we can see what you are referring to?

I'm going to guess that's a factory item. I can't imagine why anyone would sell on after market.

He's talking about the nose scoop found only on C6 GS, Z06 & ZR1. It is not actually on the hood it's just below the hood at the top of the bumper cover.

Any Chevy dealer would have that part.

Pretty sure you are correct but I didn't want to assume so I just addressed the hood aspect.
