I need a new driver's side sun visor. I screwed it up trying to fix the broken mirror cover. GMPartsHouse no longer has them. What is another good source?
They only seem to have them for the convertible at the moment.
Did you talk to Gene?
Sun-visor
Part Number: 22908791 Browse more in INTERIOR TRIM - ROOF
Positions: Left
Other Names: Sunshade
Description: Convertible, with garage dr opener. Coupe, z06 & zr1, with garage dr opener.
I am looking for the same thing, but the older ones that have the homelink opener. I believe after 2007 it went to car2u. If I can find one, I will sell you mine.
You might also check the for sale section, or post a want ad.

The catalog is really confusing.
On the page with everything listed for "INTERIOR-TRIM ROOF," it lists the two drivers side visors as "Convertible." If you click through to the actual part, the full application list is there, and it's the same visor for convertible, coupe, Z06 and ZR1.
Right sides are NLA.
You can also find used ones. If you go that route, make sure you send instructions for removal to the source you're using. They tend to be rough on the things pulling them out. I bought a used right side a month or so ago, and even when I gave them the instructions, they managed to damage the part of the clip that shows. It holds in like it should, but there's a gap where they chipped away part of the clip.
For used sources, check http://www.car-part.com (I'm not affiliated with that site or any of the sources listed there, I just use it a lot looking for odd parts for "classic" cars, or just old cars).

What year is the broken one you have? Is the garage door opener salvageable from it?

Homelink openers (just the opener, not the entire sun visor) are available on the auction site for about $20 shipped. Doesn't matter what car they are out of as they are all the same. They come in a variety of colors. I bought one and replaced by Lear unit in my 2007 with a real Homelink out of a Camary. (Had to pay an upholstery shop $20 to re-sew the visor).
I know this doesn't help the OP but hopefully answers some other questions ...

Do a search on the forums. I read where someone had nice quality leather visors with mirrors and cover/door, much superior to the oem and reasonably priced!

GMoutletparts.com has the drivers side (22908791) but not the passenger side (15923888) any longer.
Wholesalegmpartsonline.com has both in stock.
GMpartshouse.com only has the drivers side.
GMpartsdirect.com only has the drivers side.
Ebay currently has some of both, currently, while supplies last.
I gave GMPartsHouse a 2nd try and knowing now that the convertible one is the same I was successful in getting a replacement. I opted for the garage door opener and am now waiting for the Car2U bridge so it will work with my opener.

I have one and instructions on how to replace it 40.00 and you pay shipping
I replaced the mirror cover. Bought one on EBay. Could not get the sun-visor off the car without damaging the mounting hardware so I eventually figured out how to replace the door while the visor was mounted to the car. Cost about $40.00 for the part.
